About our Founder
John Newman - Founder/CEO
John is a second-generation bedding and furniture manufacturer whose family has championed operational excellence and innovation for over six decades. With more than 35 years of hands-on experience at Leggett & Platt, Inc.—a historic leader in bedding and furniture technology—John has shaped the industry across five continents and countless countries.
His career spans the full spectrum of business operations: from building state-of-the-art facilities and installing advanced production lines, to developing lean processes and leading transformative improvement initiatives. John has also spearheaded the creation of patentable innovations in both machinery and product design, reinforcing his reputation as a true trailblazer.
A visionary leader with a legacy of results, John continues to redefine what’s possible in the bedding and furniture industry.

Each line of our logo even has a purpose.
Our logo has been the family brand of our founder for generations. Each line has a meaning. The four angled lines at the back of the arrow are known as fletching. They give the arrow stability as it travels through the air. The letters of WIND, one for each fletching, stand for Wisdom, Integrity, Need, and Data that guide our arrow. The horizontal line or shaft signifies the Determination that carries us. The two vertical lines signify People and Process that will sustain us long after we're gone. And finally, the two lines that make up the arrowhead signify Precision and Effectiveness that make us impactful in our actions.
